Your perspective on your Life

God blessed me with more than I could ever ask for this past week; Seven days in paradise filled with love, affection and everything in between. At least, that’s how I decide to look at it…

The inability to help everyone who came to me hurt me deeply. I can’t tell you how troubling it is to be the recipient of so many prayer requests, how I wish people could take a step back and realize how truly lucky they are to be God’s children. Only then would they get a different perspective, one that clearly shows God’s love for them and his desire to be there for all of us.

Life is not about getting all we want, rather it is about doing everything we can with what we have. Trusting in the Lord knowing he will provide all we need to find happiness is the secret, not asking Him to be happy. Look around you and be thankful for all he’s given you. Is your life not grand? Yes it is! Could things be worse? Oh yes they could…

You see, it’s all about perspective and how we choose to look at our lives. In essence, our happiness is often dictated by what we see in the mirror instead of all that surrounds our reflection. We all are truly blessed to be alive and we need to learn to make the most of each day with what we have!

We need to share our blessings with others, love others as God loves us. How is this possible? Like everything else, we can make this happen one day at a time, one person at a time. Start with your next door neighbor, a coworker, a reckless driver, a child. Love boundlessly and be thankful for God’s blessings in your life. You will surely be glad for it.

Let’s pray.

Father God;
We thank you for all that surrounds us and for your love.
We ask that you provide all we need to be happy
And that you will inspire us to recognize your miracles in our lives.

Lord we pray you will help us make the most of all you’ve given us
And lead our footsteps so we can help others around us
Loving them as you love us.

God we thank you for your ever lasting grace in our lives
For your guidance and your strength.

Thank you all mighty God for all that you’ve given us!

Praise God,
Amen!
