Trust in the Lord’s plan for your Life

One more week ends just as another week begins. Much like life itself, there are times for beginnings, and for endings, all according to God’s plan.

Can you count the blessings the Lord sent you this past week? Or are you blinded by stress, fear or frustration? Are you aware you’re lucky to be alive? You’re alive because God wants you to be, He has a plan for your life. Did you know 150,000 people die everyday? Some will end up in heaven rejoicing with God and other believers while many will end up in hell for all eternity. Yes, HELL does exist!

Want biblical proof that hell is a real place? There are countless references to hell in the bible, here are a few:

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment.” (Peter 2:4)

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.” (Luke 12:5)

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28)

But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca, ‘ is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.” (Matthew 5:22)

God needs us to believe in hell but more importantly, He longs for us to accept his plan for our lives. God does not want anyone to end up in hell but looks to every single person to trust in Him as each one of us fulfills our life’s mission where faith, works and relationships are at the root of our path to Heaven.

Live your life with a loving heart and strive to inspire others to follow in God’s footsteps. It’s really that simple. One day at a time, one person at a time, live as Christ would and you will be rewarded for it.

Many non believers will argue there is no after life, no light at the end of the tunnel. My theory is this: If there is a Heaven where God awaits for his children, those who lived according to his word will be walked through the pearly gates. Otherwise, Godly people will still live a purpose driven life touching others positively and be glad for it when our time on earth is up. I see it as a win-win situation! Don’t you?

And so my advice to you may sound repetitive, but it will never get old: Live each day as if it is your last, wake-up in the morning, go to bed at night and follow God’s lead in between.

Always remember we are lucky to be alive and we should never take life or people for granted. We all have are blessed by God all mighty and should never forget we are all here to serve him. Those who don’t live according to His plan will keep staggering until their doom comes. The rest of us must continue walking in the Lord’s footsteps knowing He is guiding us.

Trust in God. Know and apply His ways. Have faith in Jesus Christ and you will be rewarded until the end of time.

Let’s pray.

Father God;
We thank you for all that surrounds us and for your love.
We pray for your guidance in our lives
And ask you to drive us to fulfill your plan for our lives.

Lord, please shine your light bright upon us
And lead us to eternal life with you in Heaven
Where we can rejoice with you and all those who believe in you
From the dawn of time and forever.

God please forgive our sins and our weaknesses
Make us stronger when temptation hovers over us
And continue to lift our spirits when darkness sets in
So that we may shine through strengthened by Faith.

Thank you all mighty God for all that you’ve given us!

Praise God,
Amen!
