There is a Hell and it’s waiting for You

There is a Hell and it’s doors are wide open. Unlike Heaven, the fiery bottomless pit that is Hell does not discriminate. Entrance to Hell is free to anyone and everyone.

Many modern churches prefer not talk about Hell. Too many preachers avoid the subject all together fearing to discourage their audiences more so than fearing Hell itself, a mistake that comes with a high price.

I believe in Hell. I believe in God’s wrath and, His all mighty grace. I know where I am headed and that comforting feeling mixed with utmost fear of eternal damnation keeps me walking a straight line. In my daily Christian life I sometimes stumble but you won’t see me quit. To fall from the path I am on would mean I have turned my back on God and denied Jesus as my Lord and savior. To do so would be blasphemy, the only unforgivable sin.

What do you believe in? Most importantly, where are you headed once God decides your life on earth is over? I hope and pray you also know where you are headed otherwise your days must already feel like Hell. Do you fear eternal burning along side others who chose to reject God? I think we all should…

Since the word “Hell” is found no less than 22 times in the bible and Jesus himself made several references to “the pit”, it is wise to live our lives with some level of constructive fear of it.

Jesus said “And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.” (Matthew 18:9)

I admit that I believe in using fear not only to bring people to Christ, but also to keep believers from disobeying God’s commands. I am among the preachers who believe too many false Christians spread deceiving messages living most days in darkness while attending a church pretending to belong to the body of Christ.

Much like Catholics who believe they have a place in Heaven simply because they were baptized as infants, many pseudo-Christians are unaware of the consequences of their actions, of their addictions or of their habits. The price is too high yet billions of people continue to ignore God’s plea for our lives on earth and most importantly, in His eternal kingdom.

We already know the Lord’s invitation goes out to all those who will receive it, what most people don’t know is that only a few will be granted access to Heaven. The bible reads “For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14)

A dreadful end awaits those who do not choose God. “Bind him hand and foot, and cast him into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.” (Matthew 22:13)

What then is the secret to eternal life in Heaven? How can we avoid burning endlessly among those who rejected the free gift of salvation? Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, attest that God sent His only son Jesus to die for our sins for the bible says in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” and finally, choose to live your life according to God’s commands.

Do these things and God promises that He will grant you access to His kingdom through His all mighty Grace. He will fulfill His promise to hold your place in Heaven if you submit to Him or, cast you into Hell if you decide otherwise. This I know and this I fear. So should you!

Let’s pray.

Father God;
We thank you for your word the bible and everything in it
And through it seek eternal life with you in Heaven,
Following in your footsteps each and every day
Spreading your love, your forgiveness, your strength.

Lord we pray you will continue to guide us
As we walk the path you have drawn for our lives,
Heading to your Kingdom
Strengthened not only by fear but also by faith.

Father we want to serve you and share the great news
That your second coming is near
And that your heart awaits a simple prayer
When anyone can receive you as their savior.

May your light cut through the fog all around us
And shine bright upon us, upon our friends,
Our families and all those in need.

God we love you and thank you for all that surrounds us!

Praise God,
Amen!
