Serving from Praying

God came to my rescue again this past week as I endeavored into more relationship driven ventures only to be let down. My trusting others so easily is at the root of yet another difficult week. You’ll be glad to know I’m not planning on changing my attitude because of a few non believers…

Just as the past week went from challenging to frustrating for me, some of you were faced with even more difficult issues which I can’t even imagine. This is why I continue to pray for all those who surround me asking God to answer the cries of all those who seek him.

Trouble stuck close to home this past week as friends were faced with medical challenges that put their faith to the test. I am happy to report God watched over all those who we prayed for and that better days lay ahead for them. I personally want to invite you to pray for Sue, Holly, Will and Roger so that God sees them through their ordeals and shines his light upon them in these testing times.

What good is praying for someone you don’t even know? It means everything. Praying instantly produces results within you strengthening your own faith, and God willing, it has the power to heal, inspire and drive others to follow in God’s footsteps and live righteous lives.

I ask you this week to close your eyes and pray for others all around you. To ask God to work his magic in other people’s lives remembering he will look after you. Never forget he put you here for a reason, it is your mission to fulfill his will for your life.

I can’t help but smile when thinking how lucky I am, looking around I am forced to admit God is truly blessing me providing more than I need. This greatly helps me put things in perspective and so, I wanted to reach out and help you come to the same conclusion as I have: We are all blessed to enjoy life the way we do and need to touch others positively giving back any way we can!

Don’t let the world cave-in and influence your perspective, instead stand in the middle of the room you’re in right now and spin all the way around taking time to thank God for all he’s allowed you to have. A quick 360 degree glance at your life will help you realize he’s blessed you also!

Others are not so lucky. Those are the ones we need to bring on board with the Lord so that they can taste the fruit harvested when walking with God. Though it is not up to us to decide when these people will be saved, it is our mission as Christians to keep pointing the way until lost sheep return home…

Go to work for Him and never look back. He gave you life and continues to try to give it purpose. Either listen and serve or ignore and curse. You have the power to build or to destroy. Look around you, shall we roll up our sleeves and take a deep breath or grab a sledge hammer and give up?

Let’s pray.

Father God;
We thank you for your love and all that surrounds us
And for all your blessings in our lives,
We ask that you inspire us to be the best we can be
And touch others positively driving them to follow in your footsteps.

Lord we pray you will continue to shine your light bright upon us
And look after our families, our friends and those who cry out to you,
That you lead us to put you first in our lives
And testify about all you’ve done for us.

Father God, we thank you for for forgiveness in our sins
And ask you make us stronger in the days ahead,
So that we may fulfill our mission serving you
And show you we are committed to earning our ticket to heaven
Living according to your word, to your will.

God give us strength to pray for those who need you
And guide us toward the way ever lasting.

Praise God,
Amen!
