The sun still shines bright today, as it did yesterday, just as it will tomorrow. Even though some areas of our earth will see a cloudy day, sooner or later, the sun will shine.
Those of you going through an overcast day have something to look forward to and need to remember life is not all dark and gray. But it can be if you make it so.
Others seem to constantly get to enjoy bright sunny days where birds dance in a clear blue sky, even on rainy days these people are happy, how is this possible?
Simple.
We have the light within! I am proud to say I belong to the luckiest group of people on earth, having accepted God as my leader and letting Him guide my footsteps. Living according to God’s will has it’s advantages, it’s not all compromises…
A new Jeep then, an old Toyota now, but no more freezing rain, slush filled roads or snow to shovel. From a 3000 square foot loft with 15 foot windows overlooking a noisy cargo railroad to a cozy apartment where a set of patio doors open up to a Tennis court hiding behind a pond’s fountain. Feeling like a rich man before God, overjoyed with His wealth since I found Him.
I am surrounded with people who seem to be afraid to “give-in” to God seeing this as “giving-up”. This is such a gigantic mistake! No one can live a life according to their own beliefs and have God’s blessings– Without a relationship with the Lord, how will you find the light when clouds hover above? Truth is, you will not be able to tap into a force which you do not believe in.
I invite you to contact me this week, one on one if you dare, by email, phone or in writing and talk about your relationship with God. Let’s find out why he is either blessing you and those around you or, not.
Many of you will choose to ignore my calling out, while others will take me up on my offer and engage in a discussion based on Faith. There is more to a relationship with God than reading a bible or going to Church. Spreading the word, sharing life’s experiences and touching others positively are all at the root of walking with the Lord.
Reach out! Keep the sun shining in your life by serving God helping those who need His light most. Remember that you will need strength to first walk into their clouded days before you can pull them into the light but without these challenges, life would have very few relationship based rewards!
If you are one of the lucky ones, spread the wealth! If you are not yet living in the light, find someone who can help and simply ask for a little bit of sunshine…

Father God;
We thank you for this day
For looking after us, our families and friends,
We thank you for providing for us
Like only you can.
Lord we ask you to give us a great week
And to put us to work for you
Allowing us to spread your light
To those who live a clouded life.
God we pray that you will continue to bless us
And answer our prayers
Giving us all that we need
Rather than all that we want.
May your will be done
In my life, for my life.
