Psalm 34:4
“4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.”
God hears our prayers and supplications.
Although He may not answer all our pleas, at least not the way we hope, God takes delight in delivering us from our anxieties, from evil.
As children of God, and followers of the Savior, we are promised strength and power when we call upon His name to deliver us from evil.
Believers should expect spiritual attacks, as we continue to glorify God by completing the work He gives us to do. And that’s precisely what God warns us about… When we put controversy and persecution on our radar, and focus on it, we allow the enemy to take hold of the present.

Surrender your life to God, and immerse yourself in His ways.
Draw strength from His Word, and power from worship.
Like a surgeon, who studied for years to prepare for action, so must we by applying ourselves, and seeking deliverance from evil.
How To Recognize Evil
Evil can take many forms, notably addiction, where Satan gets a stronghold of even the most devout servants. Then, evil is found in relationships, finances and even our own emotions.
When we allow fear and anxiety to rule over us, we put Satan is devious ways first, and God and His righteousness second.
The good news is, God has the answer.
When the enemy shows up, go to God in prayer and ask Him for help…
Psalm 142:1-2
“1 I cry out to the Lord with my voice;
With my voice to the Lord I make my supplication.
2 I pour out my complaint before Him;
I declare before Him my trouble.”
God welcomes our pleas for help.
He promises strength, and courage to those who go to Him in prayer, dwell in his word and glorify Him through songs of worship…

Father God;
We thank you for your presence in our lives,
We praise you Lord for the wisdom bestowed upon David,

Shield us from evil through your Word, salvation and prayer,
Guide us to abide by the truth as we spread the good news to one and all,
And lead the lost to You.
God we pray that you will continue to bless us,
To bless our lives and fill us with hope.
We ask you Lord to guide our footsteps and lead us to the way everlasting,
Through faith in you Lord we seek salvation and our place with you in Heaven
According to your ways, your everlasting wisdom and strength.
May your will be done, here on Earth and through the vast Universe,
May our hearts be filled with your everlasting love and grace.
