Malachi 4:2
“2 But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.”
The sun will come up tomorrow. This is perpetually true, until it isn’t.
For those who fear God, there is a glorious promise of eternal peace and even mentions of an outpouring of the Lord’s blessings right here on earth
In His word, God sows seeds of love when He reminds us that reverence of His magnificence is at the root of wisdom.
I have feared God since I first heard of Him.
I feared Him because I was petrified of Hell, of eternal agony where there is nothing other than despair, pain and suffering.
Yeah, I have a healthy fear of that.
And for the record, I think anyone who doesn’t fear eternity in Hell, burning in agony FOREVER, needs to have their head examined.
And so, yes I do fear the One who has power over my eternal destiny, whether I end up in Heaven, where I will rejoice with God forever, or end up in Hell, where I have gnashing of teeth to look forward to…
So today, on the Lord’s day, I heard a similar message delivered by another servant who wore khakis pants. You see, that’s how it all started for me back in October 2000, when I heard a message of hope.
Thanks to Rick Warren, the Purpose Driven preacher, I was transformed by God Himself, who delivered His message through a man I would naturally respond to. A beach guy.
And like Rick, I’ve been preaching the good news about the risen Savior and salvation to help the lost find hope in Christ, and seek healing through faith.
Placing our trust and hope in Jesus is the basis of faith, and the start of a journey which leads to Heaven.
By faith, believers take up their cross and follow in the Savior’s footsteps.
By faith, and through His word, we are healed and made new, and by our works we are built up on Earth as we continue to walk the narrow path that leads to God.
It is my hope and prayer you will seek spiritual healing through God, and allow Him to be your guide in this life, so you can rejoice with Him in the next… Forever!

Father God;
We thank you for your presence in our lives,
We praise you Lord for the wisdom found through David,
And we ask you Lord to help us find joy in your perfect plan.
Allow us to praise and love each other through faith in you Jesus,
Shield us from evil through your Word, salvation and prayer,
Guide us to abide by the truth as we spread the good news to one and all,
And lead the lost to You.
God we pray that you will continue to bless us,
To bless our lives and fill us with hope.
We ask you Lord to guide our footsteps and lead us to the way everlasting,
Through faith in you Lord we seek salvation and our place with you in Heaven
According to your ways, your everlasting wisdom and strength.
May your will be done, here on Earth and through the vast Universe,
May our hearts be filled with your everlasting love and grace.
