Let God take Charge of Your Life

One more week spent serving God comes to an end, I happy to say I was blessed with the chance to touch a few more people positively through this Ministry and, by listening to others as we all go through life’s challenges.

Many people seem to be hurting as a result of poor decision making and this is at the root of this week’s message. Making the right call when faced with a fork in the road.

Our lives are the result of a succession of choices, from the moment we are born until our last breath. These choices dictate our fate flowing like ink writing our ticket to Heaven, or they can be daggers that slice through God’s Word and tear away any chance you have at eternal life. It is truly up to us to aim at Heaven or Hell. And so, how can we be certain it is the pearly gates we will walk through and not head toward the Devil’s dungeon?

Let God take charge. Let him lead and follow. Trust in Him.

For some, this sounds too simple while for others, it seems far too complicated. I’ve shared this message with several individuals over the past few months and heard all kinds of responses: “But I love him even though he’s not a man of God!” Or, “I can’t walk away from this job, how will I pay for everything?” Even “I’m not the type to ask for help, surely God has bigger issues!”. Excuses to keep God out of your life will only lead to more failure, more pain.

Trade-in your pride, He will give you joy. Bring him your troubles, He will turn them into blessings. Cry out for help, He will make you worthy. Believe his plan for your life is right, while your own plans may lead you astray.

God has a mission for you, it started when He gave you life. What you do with this gift is up to you.

Let’s pray.

Father God;
We thank you for all that surrounds us and for your love.
We pray that you will lead us to follow your plan for our lives
And ask you to put us to work for you in the days ahead
Living according to your ways knowing you know what’s best for us.

Lord we pray you will inspire us to listen to you
And
guide us to walk in your footsteps
Hand in hand with other Godly people.

God we ask that you forgive our sins
And cleanse us of Evil like only you can
So that we may rejoice in your ever loving grace.

Thank you all mighty God for all that you’ve given us!

Praise God,
Amen!
